Javaonline.org was founded in 2003 by Dr. Prabhakar Metlapalli, Ph.D., the author of a J&B textbook titled JavaServer Pages Illuminated, with the aim of offering world-class, low-cost, 100% online Java/JSP training courses. The objective has been to take on complete beginners who may not have had any background in programming or HTML, and teach them Java and JSP using simple, easy-to-understand writing style and examples that relate directly to the corporate programming environment.
